Canixa

"Canixa" are a line of unique handmade coffee makers, made by Mayan communities of Quintana Roo and Chiapas. We take advantage of the wood and jícaras that have been a kitchen utensil for the drinks of the Mayan jungle and the made mugs of mud. We seek to raise awareness of a balance between the distribution of economic benefits to indigenous rural communities, strengthen the means of community life and root to cultural values, through sustainable consumption without forgetting our membership in Mother Earth
