Alfredo Poot (Xkoocay)

Don Alfredo began to learn and work with artisans in the state 15 years ago, going out to sell in the streets and fairs of the towns, until his fame made him not have to go out to look for clients but now they look for him for his quality and dedication in his workshop in Valladolid. Later, his family began to learn new techniques and innovate designs, always trying to improve and making unique pieces that show their culture. We choose the pieces of leek that we can, sand, paint and polish and add colored glass gems, finishing them with a technique known as sgraffito to make lamps, tortilleros, pots, etc.
