"Canixa" are a line of unique handmade coffee makers, made by Mayan communities of Quintana Roo and Chiapas. We take advantage of the wood and jícaras that have been a kitchen utensil for the drinks of the Mayan jungle and the made mugs of mud. We seek to raise awareness of a balance between the distribution of economic benefits to indigenous rural communities, strengthen the means of community life and root to cultural values, through sustainable consumption without forgetting our membership in Mother Earth

Olinalá comes from two Nahuas Ollyn words from tlallyn which means place of tremors. To paint the tools that are used are feathers and spines, the fabric is pre-washed blanket and textile paint. The wood is linaloe that is cut by hand, and then put a varnish based on soils and natural oils such as chia and flaxseed and is decorated with natural stones extracted from the subsoil that are cooked and grounded to obtain a white powder and mix with different colors. It is polished and varnished leaving to dry for a fortnight and again the same process is done. Chia oil is mixed with soil making a paste that serves as glue. There are two pre-Hispanic design techniques: shelled scratching and brush painted. In total each box is made between 20 and 30 days.

My name is Rodrigo, and I've been a craftsman since I was 10, and now I'm 52 It's a legacy of my parents who taught me how to make cotton, men's shirts, clothes, and my specialty is corn shrapnel, because it's a typical Mithra woman's dress. The design of the shell tissue includes corn, beans, black lines in mourning and six heart points, as well as space and underground world What I did was "this is the name of my factory in memory of the old God of lightning."

Our workshop is called "Arte Duxiil" which in Zapotec means art in cotton thread. At arte duxiil we are proud to be the third generation that continues to preserve the art of pedal loom weaving, always ready to innovate without losing the origin of our roots in textile design. We are a source of decent work for other families. Our work is symbolized by the frets of our Oaxacan archaeological zone that our ancestors left us
