Jesús Hernández Torres, I am part of the third generation of the “Hernández Family” dedicated to carved Copal wood crafts. At the age of 8 I started working in my uncle's workshop and little by little I grew until in 2000 I became independent and formed my own workshop "Copal Mágico" together with my wife Roxana Ortega Gracias. Together thanks to the style, work and dedication that we impose on the pieces, they have managed to win us national and international awards. We are a company that creates alebrijes, tonás and nahuales, pieces of magnificent beauty and quality through which we transmit our invaluable culture inherited by our ancestors and at the same time we bring the visitor closer to knowing the long and complex process of making these magical pieces.
